Love dogs and people? You might be exactly who we’re looking for. Airdrie Puppy Pals is hiring Dog Care Specialists, someone who’s outgoing, reliable, and excited to learn. You'll work hands-on with dogs, connect with their humans, and be part of a supportive, fun team. Previous experience interacting with dogs is a bonus, but not required. Training is provided—what matters most is a great attitude and a willingness to learn!

Skills & Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age or older

  • Friendly, positive, and confident with both people and dogs

  • Comfortable managing both group and one-on-one dog interactions

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Exceptional customer service skills.

  • Able to be active throughout the day, including walking, bending, and working outdoors in all seasons

  • Reliable and punctual, with dependable transportation to and from our facility

  • Available to work part-time, including into the fall — students welcome!

  • Previous experience in dog care or customer service is an asset, but not required

Responsibilities as a Team Member

  • Supervise both groups and one-on-one interactions to ensure dogs are engaging safely and positively.

  • Greet and speak with clients during drop-off and pick-up in a friendly, confident, and professional manner.

  • Write creative, personalized daily updates that reflect each dog's experience and match our brand voice.

  • Take clear photos of dogs throughout the day for client updates and social media.

  • Clean and sanitize all areas, including mopping, washing bowls, picking up poop, disinfecting surfaces and toys

  • This is a physically active role that involves walking, bending, stairs and standing for extended periods, both indoors and outdoors.

  • Collaborate with teammates to create a positive, respectful, and safety-focused workplace.
