We’re Hiring
We’re hiring! Please read this job description. Application instructions are found at the bottom of the page.
**Why part-time?**
We work together to accommodate school schedules, vacations, and life. Hours will vary depending on your flexibility. Part-time hours are guaranteed. We are not offering or looking for full-time positions.
**What are our hours?**
We are open from 5:30 AM to 8:30 PM, seven days a week. Typically, shifts are 5 hours long, but this can vary based on the needs of our team and the dogs in our care. We are open on weekends, and we all work some weekends and holidays. The only person who works 9 AM to 5 PM is our Daycare Manager.
**What will you do in a day?**
It varies! Our team enjoys doing a bit of everything, so a shift at Airdrie Puppy Pal may include giving baths, walking dogs, working on door manners, and promoting positive play in our 13,000-square-foot playroom.
**Teamwork is important.**
Whether you're working one-on-one or with a group of dogs, you are part of a team. We have a culture where we encourage one another to ask for help before it's needed and to overcommunicate. We use technology to share announcements and walkie-talkies to communicate.
**Dress code:**
We work with dogs, so wear attire that is appropriate for the workplace. Shoes are important; you must wear closed-toed shoes with good grip.
**Training:**
We provide training! It begins with two to three days of classroom instruction, followed by weeks of shadowing with our team leads, and a 2.5-month probationary period. We know it takes time to learn everything, and we are here to support you in becoming successful.
**How many dogs would you be in a room with?**
It depends on your education and experience. Everyone is different, and so is every dog.
**Next Steps:**
